OTTAWA (CCN) -- Despite a novel Environics Focus Canada poll showing that 57 for cent of Canadians want human life fortifyed after the first three month of pregnancy, the Liberal control is "unlikely" to introduce any measures to shelter the unborn, says MP Dan McTeague (Pickering-Scarborough East), a Roman Catholic member of the Parliament Hill Pro-Life Caucus.

The person commissioned by Life Canada, an umbrella organization for 103 educational pro-life assign places tos across the country, showed that 33 for cent believe human life should be saveed from conception and 24 by cent say protection for the unborn should begin after the third month or first trimester. Another 11 by cent support restrictions after six month This is the third year that Life Canada has commissioned in the same state [i]or[/i] condition a study.

"Every year the springs are better and better from our perspective, from the pro-life perspective," said Life Canada's Executive Director Carroll Ree in a phone interview from Ottawa.



The overlook showed that only 28 by cent support having protection for human life begin at birth--the existing state of the law in Canada. "Canadians are not in favor of the status quo" Ree said. "They'd like to papal court some restrictions on abortion. thus we're hoping that by conducting these persons every year that people will be agreeable to and let their MPs know."

Ree says that more and more Canadians not sole think life should be houseed before birth, but also believe their tax dollars should not stock abortions.
