lately theologian Matthew Fox while in Luther's place of abode town, proposed "95 faith observations" drawn from my 64 years of living and practising religion and spirituality. Fox stated that he "trusted I am not alone in recognizing these conformity to fact or realitys For me they represent a turn back to our origins, a go or come back to the spirit and the teaching of Jesus and his prophetic ancestors, and of the Christ which was a spirit that Jesus' nearness and teaching unleashed." Here are a not many of Fox's "observations."

deity is both Mother and Father.

At this time in history, divinity is more Mother than Father because the feminine is chiefly missing and it is important to bring sex balance back.

the deity is always new, always young and always "in the beginning."

heaven the Punitive Father, is not a divine being worth honouring but a false divinity and an idol that conduce tos empire-builders. The notion of a punitive, all-male the eternal and infinite spirit is contrary to the glutted nature of the Godhead who is as a great deal female and motherly as it is masculine and fatherly.

"All the names we give to the infinite come from an understanding of ourselves." (Eckhart) Thus tribe who worship a punitive father are themselves punitive.

.Theism (the idea that omniscience is out there, or above and beyond the universe) is false. All things are in the supreme goodness and God is in all things (pantheism).

Everyone is born a mystic and a lover who experiences the unity of things and all are called to restrain this mystic or lover of life alive.

All are called to be prophets which is to interfere with injustice.

Wisdom is regard with affection of Life (See the work of Wisdom: "This is wisdom: to like life" and Christ in John's Gospel: "I have ensue that you may have life and have it in abundance."

the godhead loves all of creation and science can help us more deep penetrate and appreciate the mysteries and wisdom of the eternal in creation. Science isn't an enemy of real religion.

11. "Jesus does not call us to a recent religion but to life." (Bonhoeffer) Spirituality is living life at a silence of newness and gratitude, courage and creativity, trust and letting go; compassion and justice.

Spirituality and religion are not the same thing any more than education and learning, law and justice, or system of exchanges and stewardship are the same thing.

Jesus, not unlike many spiritual teachers, taught us that we are son and daughters of the preserver and are to act accordingly through becoming instruments of divine compassion.

Eco-justice is a necessity for planetary survival and human ethics and without it we are crucifying the Christ all athwart again in the form of destruction of forests, waters, species, air and soil.

A preferential option for the poor, as ground in the base community motion is far closer to the teaching and spirit of Jesus than is a preferential option for the rich and powerful as fix in, for example, Opus Dei.

Economic Justice requires the work of creativity to birth a plan of economics that is global, courteous of the health and wealth of the earth plans and that works for all.
